ATLAS ropes are synthetic stranded ropes which combine the attributes of wire ropes and fibre ropes. They are dimensionally stable, flexible, require no maintenance, and are resistant to corrosion and seawater. Their elongation characteristics lie roughly between those for steel wire and polyamide.
